Yeah, but it's an unnecessary complication. If the UK is sniffing around your assets, get them out of the UK - there are plenty of jurisdictions which are better for that sort of thing. What Chelsea buys Roman is respectability and a bolt-hole. If that is no longer the case, the club stops being central to his interests.
 
Ah. I woke up today, had overslept, my son started crying and shouting as he heard me, I have an important day at work, bit of stress, immediately thought "fudge, another day" and then I remembered we beat chelski away, and I just paused for a second and smiled. And the morning and day has been good since. Thank you, Tottenham. :D

A piece of art. Lamela gets it. I hope we sign him up for a long term contract soon. Great player to have around. Winding up Fibreglass and Wheelchair on a regular basis, excellent! :D
 
Agreed - and he's not a bad player either. In the real bone cruncher games his intensity is a big plus.

Almost as embarrassing as the other Chelsea player who is strolling along watching the grass grow and suddenly appeals for offside? handball? trip? what have you got?
 
This is a morale boosting and historic win ! It is great to get our first win over Chelsea away since 1990. This is also only the second time we have beaten a top 6 team away under Pochettino. It is puzzling why we have had such a poor record at Chelsea over the years. We have come close to win there many times in recent years. Remember, we led 3-1 and wasted a great chance to make it 4-1 before ending up drawing 3-3 in the FA Cup Quarter Final in 2007. And who can forget the way we led 2-0 before drawing 2-2 that ultimately destroyed our league title chance in 2016. Let's hope we will now go on a winning run at Chelsea after this.

Amazingly, since Kane got injured, we have scored 10 goals in 3 matches and have came from a goal down to win 2 of those. Great to see Kane returning but maybe we are not a one-man team after all ! Fortunately for us, other players lift their game whenever Kane is not available. Well done to Eriksen and Alli for the goals. It was a crucial time for Eriksen to score the goal just before half time. We badly needed that goal after going behind to Chelsea earlier. And it was a brilliant long range goal by Eriksen. Eriksen has now scored 3 long range goals in 2 matches. Hope he will score more of these goals. Credit also to Alli for scoring 2 well-taken goals. After not scoring in 15 matches, Alli has now scored 3 goals in 3 matches. Lamela had a good match even if he was not involved directly in any goals. Thought Son was poor as he didn't have his goal scoring boot on. In fact, Son almost spoiled our 3rd goal by being selfish but fortunately for us, Alli managed to score from it. Too bad Kane didn't score as he badly needs goals to fight Salah for the top scorer award.

Our midfield of Dembele and Dier had a good match even if they were not really tested by Chelsea who were poor. Credit to Dier for the inch perfect long range pass to Alli for our crucial second goal. It seems like Dier and Alli have a telepathic understanding between them. Thought Wanyama and Sissoko played well after coming on late in the match.

Our defence started poorly but finished strongly. It was a soft goal to concede which should have been dealt by Sanchez and Lloris. I think Alderweireld would have cleared that ball. Fortunately, our defending improved after that. Credit to Davies for assisting the goal for Eriksen.

It is great to beat Chelsea away after so long. Hope we will be more comfortable playing at Chelsea from now on. We also need to use this win to improve our record at top 6 teams away. Let's hope we will continue our winning run in all the remaining matches of the season.
