OMT - Totteham vs Swansea - Season Recovery Edition

To be fair when he was 22/23 and first with us he was damn quick. Definitely has lost several yards of pace now he's getting older.

But has he gotten wiser?

Overall, a good performance. Nuaghton still looks shaky on the left I suspect that may be a problem position from here on in, given BAE's intermittent struggles for form and Vertonghen's excellence in the middle of the defense), but other than that's we've given very little away, despite Lloris' absence.

45 minutes to weather before our season can be declared back on track, though.

Agree. People think Defoe is quick because he's short and black and that just because the vast majority of 100m runners are black, then he must be quick as well

Are you saying everyone's racist? Because this comment is practically impossible to understand

anyone else nervous to the point that they question why they even watch football???

if we were 4 - 0 up going into injury time i'd still be nervous as fudge.

Teh comments about pace in regards to Ade and Defoe are valid. But its not about what pace you have in some respects its how you use it. Bergkamp was fast but was not the kind of player to run in behind and stretch a defence. Ades first thought is to go sideways or across the midfield. Defoes first thought is to get in behind and look for a threaded through ball.

Getting closer now, Swansea. We need to keep better possession, and avoid these crosses.
