OMT: Everton vs Mighty Spurs

We need a win to boost our confidence after the disappointing draw with Burnley last time. But it won't be easy as Everton look strong now. We don't have a great record away at Everton, drawing our last 2 matches there. We need inspiration from our key players to win this match.

It was disappointing to see Kane failing to score in August yet again. Let't hope Kane will get his first league goal of the season in this match. Alli is our top scorer now with 2 goals. Hope he can continue his goal run as well. Too bad Lamela is still out injured as he scored our only goal against Everton
last season.

I think this match will be won or lost in midfield. Wish Wanyama is fit for this match. Without him we have to rely on Dier and Dembele to lead our midfield. Hope Dier will have a error-free performance in midfield. Eriksen have been in excellent form for us and Denmark in recent matches. It will help us greatly if Eriksen get a goal or assists in this match. He scored a brilliant goal from freekick for Denmark. Want to see him score from freekick for us as well.

We have done well to strengthen our defence in this transfer window. Let's see if it is enough to keep a clean sheet in this match. Can't help but worried about Alderweireld's contract problems. Hope it won't affect him in any way. We need to avoid giving away any freekicks near our goal as Sigurdsson can take advantage from that.

Can see this being another tense match for us. We badly need a win to lift us before we play Dortmund in the CL next week. Let's hope we will do just enough to get us the win we need.

Where are you and others getting Everton looking strong from??

They look poor to me so far. Their game vs Chelsea they were all over the place. Vs city they got a draw but were battered by 10 men and IMO they influenced the game by cheating

Their European games have been ok performances considering their lack of experience at that level but they still look blunt

I think their getting over hyped off the back of spending a lot of dosh whilst people are forgetting they sold their best player who was responsible for around 30 odd goals (including assists)

Steady on mate, you're going off media script here. They're flavour of the month, with a sexy manager, never let reality cloud the issue.

I think Koeman is an average manager but a big name. When we were linked with him I didn't see a manager who had achieved anything. People claimed he did well at SCBC but he didn't take them any further toward than they were and his replacement got them to Wembley

Everybody dance now!

Hope we can see our new players like Davinson and Llorente getting some playing time. It is going to be a tough match but let's hope we can get the win.

Strange team selection.. Not sure how we're going to go in the middle of the park with Sissoko and Dier together. Interesting selections from the Poch.

Happy to see Sanchez straight in.

Wow major fudge up from Poch and akin to the decision to play Son at lwb and trippier over Walker at rwb in the semi.

Not a game to be carrying passengers in this one and my GHod we have one hell of a passenger in our central midfield. All the more laughable when we have Winks ready and able on the bench.

No victory here today peeps and can only hope that when sissoko royally fudges up in this game or one in the future, the manager will finally see the light.

Extremely concerning decision from the boss.

Get. A. Grip.

That might be the tallest 11 I’ve ever seen us field.

Tbf any team we pick should be good enough if they are 100% up for it. No complacency. COYS!!!!
