A bit late, but fudging YES. YEEES.

One of the best things from Rome: TW was setting your infantry into the testudo formation against ranged units.
Also, elephants!

To have the naval units integrated into the siege warfare elements in a more direct manner would be awesome. Still need to give Shogun 2 some more play time.

The Total War series, especially Rome and Medieval, is one of my favourite game series. I hate live action trailers to be honest though - I want to see gameplay!!!

Anyone have tips for an Uncharted-type game for Xbox 360?

I had PS3 before, and i absolutely loved Uncharted 2, Among Thieves

Oh yes!! Bout fudging time been waiting for this forever!!!

As much as i tried to get into Shogun 2 and Napolean and Empire... It was always Rome that i went back to

Enjoying Tribes Ascent, even though I'm absolutely shocking at it!

Im enjoying Blacklist more as its familiar to me... The learning curve on Tribes is steep and a tad offputting but ill no doubt persist. AlthoughBlacklist is just easy pick up and play quick matches, almost like COD except not as fast paced

I was so excited for Shogun 2 when it came out but the Japanese names did my head in. I couldn't pronounce half of them and couldn't remember the ones I could.

Steam sales will be your downfall ;)

You should give it a go because it is actually a lot of fun. New ironclad-type ships and plenty of gunpowder units. The new campaign was fun; I chose the traditional way of the samurai on my first run-through, using my superior tactics (crap, botched that battle up---> quick-load!!!) and cunning (geisha was caught attempting to assassinate an enemy general---> quick-load!!!) for eventual victory.

Just started playing Red Dead Redemption. Brilliant game and more enjoyable than GTA, for me anyway.

One of the most emotionally charged moments in gaming when you enter Mexico. An almost spiritual experience. The atmosphere was so heavy that I could really feel how wild and fresh and breathtakingly beautiful this land was. And it wasn't even a cutscene. The player was just riding to some music. But the whole way it happened was just...just masterful. It was a work of art.

In fact it makes me want to buy it again to play it all again. Will do that!

Thanks for making me remember that part - that cut scene was amazing in it's simplicity. Though walking in on the General plowing that Mexican gal was pretty goddamn good too!!

And the sun rising gave the perfect backdrop after crossing the river. Greatest part of the game, and very rarely has a video game actually gotten so much emotion from me (FF7 anyone else?)...
