Just binge watched 'The Responder'.
Did not expect Martin Freeman to play a dodgy scouse copper and it took a while getting used to, but he played it well.
Good series and some very good performances from the cast.

Thought it was good as well, good actor Freeman.

Good programme, but after watching I feel I've lived too long and wonder where the brave new world I was looking forward to in the 60's went.

Watched a very old episode of The Simpsons the other day (Bart gets an elephant). Bart’s elephant wanders into the republican convention “we want what’s worst for everyone”. “We’re just plain evil.”

He then wanders into the democratic convention “we hate life and ourselves”. “We can’t govern.”

Nailed it on both counts.

Gotta say that Season 3 has been a struggle to enjoy. Halfway through and it's been a chore to watch. There is a great cast there but the director has gone off on wild tangents with the tone of each episode. Trying to crank up the intensity with profound and unrealistic levels of profanity or trying for comedy relief with the Faks and now that muscle bound idiot John Cena. Not working in the least.

If next episode is another dud, pulling the plug.

Throughly enjoying Kaos on Netflix
Always loved modern takes on old stories and the way this is playing out is very stylish
