Anyone watching The 100? Looks like a poor teenage Lord of the Flies rip-off to begin with, but feck me, that show turned out to be some serious brick!

I really liked the second season of True Detective, but the story was pretty confusing at times. I forgot who was who with all the names being thrown around.

Looking forward to checking out Narcos next!

The second season had some good parts, but the writing was terrible. They set out with an ending in mind, but wrote a script that took us in a completely different direction. Final episode was a giant fist to the face.

Binge watched Wayward Pines recently. Starts off really good, though some parts are deliberately confusing, but halfway through it goes off a cliff and later falls into a crevasse. Last episode they finish the job by taking a giant crap on you. Plot holes you could build olympic swimming pools in and characters getting stupider the more they learn.

I've been working 16-17hr days recently (work and night school) but I've just finished today and not doing any work this weekend (and no meaningful footy ;)) so we're having a TV binge because we've got so much to catch up on!!

Walking Dead
Impractical Jokers (my daughters favourite programme)
Whole S3 of The Americans
The Strain
Parks and Recreation
Narcos

We're going to get through as much as we can! :p

The Man in the High Castle is exceptionally good, you should all watch it.

Taken the altverse of the book and brilliantly weaved in a wider narrative.

I love the book. Am a bit wary that the TV series will miss the point.

it's "based on" rather than a chapter for chapter reproduction, I've only watched the first 6 episodes but I certainly believe they have nailed the feel of the book

im not sure how they will do it but I don't think the way the book ended will work for a tv show

I'd recommend "the affair" if its available in the UK, on showtime here, episode always divided into two parts showing the man and then the woman's view of the same events, fascinating to see how different the sexes ' perception of the same event is, great TV.

I recently stumbled across Ash vs The Evil Dead which I'd heartily recommend to any Bruce Campbell fans or those of you looking for an undead fix whilst The Walking Dead is on its winter break,

Bruce Campbell bears an uncanny resemblance to the X-Wing pilot in Star Wars VII. Totally distracted me for a while.

just finished a 2 day binge of Fargo Season 2. Highly enjoyable storytelling. if you like slow, quirky and violent, this should be right up your alley.
