**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

thought Robben was the most dangerous player on the pitch tonight and eventually got his reward.

wanted Dortmund to win but fair play Bayern were strong in the second half and deserved the win in the end

Actually doesn't today make you feel EVEN MORE tinkled off that Bayern ****ed things up last year??

we fcuked up not finishing 3rd. Once we were left relying on Bayern there was always the chance things could go wrong.

I love blaming Bayern for all our failures but I'm only jesting when I do it. If you genuinely still feel like that, then that sums up the Spurs mentality that we need to shake off

I don't like that some fans care more about other clubs. Sure it was annoying that we missed out on Champions League and some extra cash but brick happens, we still finished in the top four and had one of our best seasons in the Premier League. Same as this year, we missed out again but we still took strides in my view and had our best Premier League season ever in terms of points tally as well as away wins.

Absolutely. Last year hurt more than this year. That Parker sub I will never understand if I live until I am 100.

I will take that Parker sub to my grave. Much like the Chelsea game where AVB left Defoe on the bench for the last 20 minutes when we NEEDED to win the game. (although some fans cant see this and even now wont accept that a draw was as good as a loss).

I admire how passionate you are and how you really do see 5th place with 72 points and 10 away wins in a season as a poor season but you must have some part of you that thinks this season was positive, was a good sign of the future and we are just a few astute signings away from being a competitive top team

Yup, against Chelsea, a draw would normally have been a good result but we should have thrown everything at them, risking getting beat but going all out for the three points. Had we lost, so what? 1 point was as good as zero points as it made no difference about what we had to achieve the rest of the season.

I just hope next season we play smart. We attack the smaller sides, going all out and not playing with a defensive midfielder but instead someone who 'can' tackle but is more effective with the ball at their feet.

Hopefully by beating the smaller teams more often, and staying tactically smart, we may well be back in this competition very soon.

Although with all the money clubs in the competition, it's hard to believe that we will come close to winning it for a long, long time to come.

Are you seriously comparing a draw (a relatively lucky one at that) away to Chelski (who we havent won at in 23 years() to an away game against a DOGbrick Aston Villa??

Most positive thing I can take from it is this ...

So once we settled under AVB that's the form we saw. Add Kaboul, Sandro and hopefully some new signings then we could have an even better season next year.
