Can see straight away that one team played on Wednesday and the other has had a good rest.
This is why Wigan dont stand a chance at Arsenal, why we'll struggle at Stoke and why Chelsea are far from being in the CL.
They'll have to beat Everton, having come back late from Amsterdam, with possible partying are a win??
Maybe, maybe not. Football isn't that cut and dried. Lots of ifs and buts, shocks and upsets. Neither Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea have hit a particularly bad bit of form recently but it is possible that any of those sides could drop big points still.
Biggest thing for us is to win both our games. Its the Stoke match that is the more worrying, tough place for us to go.
As for other matches, there are things that could help our cause....
* QPR to beat Saudi Sportswashing Machine tomorrow is key. Means that Saudi Sportswashing Machine HAVE to get points off Arsenal last match of the season to guarantee survival.
* Conversely, we could do with Sunderland to beat Southampton
* Following your train of thought charlie, Emirates Marketing Project score twice nice and early to kill the cup final. Wigan conserve energy for Tuesday night (and incidentally, why is it Tuesday and not Wednesday? UEFA screw-up right? Stick the damned UEFA Cup on a Thursday and leave it there you interfering attention seeking fooooooools)
Here are the sort of results I'd like to see, all are realistic and count in our favour:
Aston Villa 1 Chelsea 0
Emirates Marketing Project 5 Wigan 0
Stoke 0 Tottenham 2
Norwich 0 WBA 1 (need Norwich to be down there to add to the fight for Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Wigan)
Everton 5 West Ham 0 (be good to see Everton carrying a bit of form into their last match of the season)
QPR 2 Saudi Sportswashing Machine 1
Sunderland 1 Southampton 0 (Rose, 88)
Arsenal 0 Wigan 0
Benfica 2 Chelsea 2 aet (Benfica win on pens)
Saudi Sportswashing Machine 1 Arsenal 1
Chelsea 0 Everton 1
Tottenham 3 Sunderland 0
I think with the BBC predictor that would put us in 3rd but I would be very, very happy with much less that sneaks us into 4th.
