I dont think that rule applies for the League Cup. If Chelsea were to win it, assuming they finish in the Top4, then the Europa place would go to 6th place IIRC.
Pretty sure that rule only applies to the FA Cup Finalist

Good news Bradford fans, as if you needed some more. We've been getting some questions about whether the Bantams will qualify for Europe if they win at Wembley. The answer? A definitive yes.

They are, in fact, one win away from the third qualifying round of the Europa League. Incredible.

That's a stupid question and it's not the one everyone is asking. I was pretty sure if Bradford won they'd get to go to Europe.


What people are asking is if they lose to Chelsea do they get into Europe, the answer to which is no.

I've not read the thread its copied from, just wandering if somebody might have thought, as they were in the 4th tier maybe the FA wouldnt give them a European slot even if they won it.
Sounds strange, but cant think of any other reason why anybody would think they wouldnt qualify if they won the Cup

I always thought there was, but when you see the stadia of some of the teams that start off in the 1st and 2nd qualifying rounds of the EL and CL it makes you wonder, and tbh I'm pretty sure Bradford's ground is better than half of them.
They were in the PL 10 seasons ago so I would assume they have more than reasonable facilities

Yes, but they'd simply have to borrow someone else's ground. I'm sure there are grounds in the area that can handle that.
Edit: if they had a problem with their own ground, ofc.
