Pretty weird isn't it.
He bought Anita with the little money he had and even though he's looked good recently i don't really understand why you wouldn't be spending that cash on a defender instead.

I think we will bring in a full back and a centre back this window.
Steven Taylor is actually a decent centre back these days, has been good for a few years now but he is a liability in terms of fitness, his injury record is on a par with Michael bloody Owen.

Awful from newcash there...Obertan goes WIDE instead of inside, and even then he is absolutely left for solo, nearest supporting team mate is 10-15 yards away. Ridiculous. They really have given it up on sloppy, lazy play. Very disappointed in Tiote too. The goons are simply not this good...

Pardew said after Man United that we would be a good side if we had some decent defenders, this will only reinforce his opinion that most of them are brick. Must get a centre back and full back in the Jan window, Colo and Santon are both more than good enough, they're very good players but they are playing alongside monkeys.
