I saw them in 2010 as well and that lineup were unbelievable live. Sadly we don't get Ron Thal shredding our faces off any more, but at least they brought back some of my personal faves from the UYI albums like Coma, Estranged, Civil War and Double Talkin Jive. This whole tour is basically the 91-93 tours all over again with the same solo spots/intros from Slash, some leftovers from the Chinese Democracy era and a couple of new covers like Black Hole Sun and Wichita Linesman. Plus one Velvet Revolver song.
 
Axl should know no one is interested in that Chinese democracy brick, and neither his piano crap and just play the good old classics. I remember watching gnr live in Paris in 92 recorded from TV on VHS a lot back then. 8 years old, and stunned at what we saw. Not so much now. :p

Their music videos and the whole white trash aesthetic thing is quite entertaining, but their music is just rubbish, in my opinion. Eurodance with a bricky beat.

It sounds strange to say it, but I preferred seeing 'them' at the 02 in 2010 to the supposed reunion last summer. Not that it was bad, it just didn't really click for me...

Great band, fun shows, amazing voice on lead singer Rachel Price.

 
One of the best and most interesting gigs I've ever been to, was when I was the sound technician for 'The fabulous Thunderbirds' .
What a band! First thing they said when they entered the stage for the sound check was, "Get rid of those fudging monitors. We don't need them!"
 
Just found out that next June i will be seeing one of my favourite bands play in one of my favourite Citys. :D
