One of the better england squads of recent years. nice to see lennon back. should just have enough to beat san marino and then lose against poland
 
LENNON BACK IN ENGLAND SQUAD

Aaron Lennon is back in the England squad.

The flying winger joins team-mates Jermain Defoe and Kyle Walker in the squad for the World Cup qualfying matches against San Marino and Poland.

Capped 19 times by England, Aaron has been in fine form this season, starting seven of our eight games so far, including all six in the Premier League.

He was last involved in the squad in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Jermain will look to add to his 17 goals from 51 caps while Kyle is after a fourth full cap.

The Three Lions face San Marino at Wembley Stadium on Friday week, October 12 and then travel to Warsaw, Poland on Tuesday, October 16.

England have started qualifying Group H with a win in Montenegro and draw against Ukraine.

Statto, do you know many English players playing in the Scottish leagues have been called up whilst at their Scottish club? Are there some obvious examples I'm just not remembering?
