I'd pretty much agree with this. He's made some lousy decisions, his football has been an eyesore but he seems a good man and I do have a degree of sympathy for him.

His press conference on Friday is starting to look a bit like Custer's Last Stand rather than the him wielding a long overdue axe to properly start his reign.

It's a sad situation so its best for everyone that it gets done quickly. It's only going to end one way.

Seen a lot of people say this and I absolutely understand the attraction. Harry is a crook but he's an entertaining one.

But at 74, he's 10 years older now and his most recent jobs at QPR and Birmingham were pretty ordinary at best. Not for me. Eddie Howe or Scott Parker if we're gonna put a stop gap in place. Poch for the long term.

Agree 100%, the guy clearly has integrity but right now he is drinking at a poisoned well.

Nuno seems a thoroughly decent man, a gent. But it’s difficult to see how he wants his team to play. There doesn’t seem to be any discernible plan to our game. At least not constructively. Players seem to be making it up by themselves out in the pitch.
 
If he is being sacked there needs to be someone lined up to take over. We can't go through another 3-4 months looking for someone.
I'd rather hold off for a few weeks and get the right man in. Levy has to get it right this time, too many fudge ups since the Poch was sacked.
Wouldn't be surprised if there's actually a bit of investment from Levy and Lewis to try and stop the atmosphere turning more toxic.

Levy’s tended to follow a managerial mistake with a good one, however he’s got it wrong since Poch.

That rings true but makes limited sense. Surely ENIC/Levy are sufficiently far away from the daily sports operation. Their influence outside of transfer windows should be negligible. Unless rolling contract negotiations are conducted in the Guantanamo style.

I’m convinced the squad still has a few actual bad apples and trouble makers. Of course, getting rid of them - even at a substantial financial «loss» - IS the responsibility of those at the top.
