Interview with Steve Harper on Radio 5 in Setpember. Said he'd even done a few days training with Jimenez and Poch in August, but we didn't go through with it because Lloris came back sooner than expected.

I think that it is safe to assume that Vorm is our back up keeper all the time that he is making the bench.

Not that uncommon for teams to make do with 3 regular centre halves and a player that can be shifted into that position as the 4th choice. It's almost impossible to keep a 4th centre back match fit unless you have serious injury problems. Most centre halves that will be ok with being 4th choice for us won't be good enough to be able to step in a perform without being match fit.

That being said a player like N'Kolou cheaply might be a good option for us. Might even end up making us a net profit if he's leaves after a year or two so the financial side of it makes more sense than most "backup" signings.

Wimmer looks more than decent. Pleasantly surprised by his ability.
