which stories last week? I tend to turn off during international breaks!
Our last manager got only 12 games.....It would still seem premature to me, to sack him for not fixing a problem we've had for decades in a season and a half during a market affecting global pandemic.
I think you have to give any manager two full seasons before moving the needle.
Our last manager got only 12 games.....
Yep straight 4 straight years of qualification for the CL through league position with £3m net spent per transfer window and then sacked after finally getting an adequate amount to spend in the transfer window, only 12 games into the season when barely having a chance to use his 3 new players due to them arriving injured.... Appalling management from the very top of the club there!Really, felt like he was here for about five years?

Poch was done at spurs and needed a break, what would have been an interesting idea would have been to give him the season off to refresh his batteries.
This is exactly what I said to mates. Unfortunately in the real world it just wouldn’t have been practical.Poch was done at spurs and needed a break, what would have been an interesting idea would have been to give him the season off to refresh his batteries.
Tottenham make some noise....Moyes... just for giggles

Yeah.... I suspect Pochettino had got tired of having to fight with both hands tied behind his back.Well, he did spend the lead-up to the CL Final speculating (publicly) on whether he would stay with us or not.
He then led us through a run of lacklustre results (14th in the PL) while sporting a face that looked like Mourinho at a funeral. A number of accounts even have him not attending training sessions by the end.
Results, coupled with his behaviour, left any sane chairman with no choice.
Yeah.... I suspect Pochettino had got tired of having to fight with both hands tied behind his back.
Levy made a mistake in not giving the best manager he’d stumbled across in his 20 years at the club a chance to turn it around with his new players. However he made a far bigger mistake in the years leading up to that by not properly backing that excellent manager. We’re still paying for those poor decisions now.

His family!I wonder what that pile of money Danny has been hiding will be used for.
