The general brickery of any managers job is overidden by the bountiful payout (even for failure) at the end of tenure.

Was the Getafe manager a scumbag for taking Greenwood on loan. If we aren't getting mangers based on the scumbags they have coached it might rule a lot of managers out. I hate to imagine what some players are really like.

Don't need to re watch I think Greenwood is a clam of a human being & I wouldn't want him near Tottenham. The problem I have is calling everyone that employees him a scumbag. There argument is his charges were dropped & he hasn't been found guilty of any crime. I might not agree with them but they are not scumbags for employing him.

I know he's pointed to as a bit of a nutter/dingdongead. Another Conte type figure. Which could easily be a bad thing, particularly longer term. But to me seems to have a pretty good track record of instilling a style of play quickly (we need that), has PL experience and experience managing in difficult circumstances.

Wouldn't be on my list of attractive targets permanently come the summer, but if the options now are him, Mason, Redknapp etc i can't see better options than him.

Instilling a style quickly is absolutely the top priority at the moment.
