Slot is almost definitely getting into CL next season, Brighton have a pretty decent chance, we are at best an outside bet for CL, why would either of them sacrifice that to come to us just now or in the summer?
How will the club send out season ticket renewal emails when the club is a joke right now and ticket prices will more than likely be going up in price? If Pochettino were to be appointed that would make it a lot easier decision to renew for most. As it stands we will likely finish 6th or 7th with poor football being played and losing to any half decent team we play that isn’t already on the beach.

But trying to make money from it.
Because they are not daft
A one season peak isn’t longer term is it and most coaches do think long term
Also opportunities don’t always come along
Potter may see that now
I think de Zerbi would be wary of making a move away from Brighton too soon. Slot on the other hand would more than likely take the opportunity to get into the premier league. But not until the end of the season. It it goes south for Stellini very quickly, and I think there’s a very strong possibility of that, then I can see us moving for someone who’s available immediately.

Hardly a shambles but I think Levy could be forced to make a quick fix decision rather than waiting to make the right appointment (but who the eff knows who that might be anyway). The fact is the manager who had us in 4th effectively sacked himself. If we finish any worse than 4th Levy is going to get hammered for not acting sooner. So really we are a shambles?
I wonder what the effect would be of announcing a manager now for next season? It wouldn't undermine Stellini too much, as he's gone in June anyway. Might it galvanise the squad and fans, if they sense a little bit of magic is on his way?
Short-term, if Brighton is anywhere near as bad as Everton, we should swap Stellini and Mason around to get the team playing more on the front foot again
Different time and different vibe but when did we announce Santini? was it end of the season before the WC or during the season?
Probably by email.

3 June. So just after the end of the season, but before the Euros started. Different to Lopetegui and Spain though, his departure from France after that tournament had been long known about.
This is quite an interesting read with hindsight and our current context: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/3774767.stm
We won’t move quickly now
No need too
Excellent!Luis Enrique is now in London discussing the New Chelsea job.
Hardly a shambles
