New Kit?

My mum and dad in 1990 couldn't find me a spurs kit, they were sold out so they bought me for my 7th birthday.........................
An Arsenal kit.

Our lord and saviour recovered from the infamy - so can you. :)

Although you may need to bag a bunch of screamers in a few NLDs, mind. Hey, no one said it would be easy. ;)

Poor bloke. I can't begin to think he went through.

If it helps, his hair is only dyed '*semi*-red, and the shirt looks a bit too big for him - the sort of truly half-ars*d dye-and-kit job that says 'I'm only doing this because the mongs at my academy are forcing me to.'

I'd like to think he goes to sleep at night knowing that he went on to become a top Premier League footballer and score in multiple NLDs for us while the troglodytes around him grew gradually more miserable and bewildered, until they all eventually ended up on Arsenal Fan TV screaming death threats at Wenger. ;)

Osgood was a GREAT player and yet another one who was undervalued by the England team in favour of work horses like Robson, Palmer etc.

One thing 90% of those kits have in common is that they all exist in an apparent parallel universe where AIA cheerfully accepted our proposal to alter their very brand by changing the color of their logo,*just* so our kits looked better.

I don't think they'll be quite so generous in our world, sadly. :p Would be amazed if they did agree, but it's more likely they'll tell us to stuff ourselves and insist we keep the red.

I think one of the giveaways is the way the kits are displayed. Can anybody remember a team announcing a kit with a Photoshop mockup? Everything these days is done with real players modelling / Photoshopping the new kits onto old photos. Everything else is just fan speculation.

Emirates Marketing Project have made history by becoming the first Premier League team to announce a shirt sleeve sponsor.

A rule change coming into force next season will allow clubs to have a secondary sponsor on their sleeves.

And on Friday City revealed their partnership with Nexen Tire, a tyre manufacturer from South Korea.

I hadn't heard about this. Phooey. Though it's more money for the clubs, more PL shirts will look like lower division kits - billboards with advertising on every available inch.

Ah, man, this fudging sucks. Before we know it they'll look like Norwegian hockey jerseys.
