He seems impervious to giving away fouls, even though he gives out enough to be on a red most games.
He's a total master of brickhousery, but even when he is blatant about it he never gets called on it...
He's also pretty good at passing, not bad at running and heavily involved in their build up play.

Not suggesting otherwise, I just find it so frustrating he can do what the hell he likes on the field without ever getting called I kind of over look the rest.
He is a professional cheat. The interesting bit will be when they do replace him - will that guy enjoy the same blindness from refs?

Gundogan is pretty much perma-crocked, and whilst his work on the ball is similar to Fernandinho's, he doesn't get near him in tackle numbers.

I don’t know much about Ndombele but I don’t think he’s a Winks type player is he? I thought he was more box to box all action type player (so much in the Sissoko mould?)
Winks would still be the only ball player we have in the squad if this guy signs so I think Winks starts if fit, almost no matter the formation.

Looks more likely we'll try and move towards a true 4-3-3. One dedicated holding and two box to box, especially if Ericksen goes. Historically we've always played our best football with a 4-2-3-1 but perhaps that is too reliant on specialised personal for it to be successful long term.

He's box to box, so does that job but if we got him I could see him playing alongside Sissoko/Winks so Dier would not get in at all thank fcuk.
We need a squad to be able to play a variety of formations, we've become too slow and predictable this season.
