Anyone watch the video.. Tottenham compared to New York mets but more likely New York Nicks. Also said about Bale 's domination in the awards last year. Basically make it sound like we have the best player ever. lol
 
Very clear marketing, which is why I mentioned in the Bale thread a few days ago about there being some very peeved marketing execs if he did move to La Liga.

Definitely. The US market is picking up at just the right time too. A time that we had a big name US International, in addition to a US keeper and a time at which we have one of the biggest names in World football.

This has been managed very well by those at the club and could prove to be a cash cow going in to the future. A large US fan base, developing all the time, buying Official merchandise could make us serious money and help us to take the next step up to the top rung of the football ladder.
 
casey keller, brad friedel, clint dempsey, robbie keane and under armour. that's quite a lot of US publicity. hope we sell more shirts over there and keep up that lead!
 
With having had dos santos on the books the large Mexican population in the US would have taken notice too. Also Cudicini now plays MLS too. Plus there is a large anti feeling towards teams that buy titles. Yankees are pretty much loathed outside of Yankee fans.

Spot on re: Yankees and buying titles. I know its common that any friends I have that like the Yankees, Red Sox, Cowboys, Lakers etc.. will also like Man United or Chelsea. I guess being a frontrunning piece of brick just runs in their blood

Alot of jews out there as well, think we should play up the Jewish thing to be honest, they always have money whether they would spend it on football shirts i do not know.
