Nacer Chadli

Sincere condolences Nacer. Lost my Dad a few months ago, so can sypathise. Hope to see you back soon.
 
Interesting that he's now finding himself on the bench - although I guess it's still recent after his loss. Is it a case of him vs Dembele now, and can't play both? In physical terms they are similar, although Chadli is the far superior goal threat....
 
Dembele has earned the right to a run in the side. I would play Chadli ahead of Lamela. The Argentinian scores full marks for effort, and contributes fully to our pressing style, but Chadli is more of a goal threat.
 
Think Poch went with people who were match fit, right call based on result.

I'd expect to see Chadli back sooner vs. later

Out of front 6 players, Bentaleb, Eriksen, Kane are must play
Mason/Chadli/Dembele/Lamela rotate around the remaining 3 spots
 
He is in the mix, Poch likes him so he will keep him involved. We have lots of games and I expect him to start against the bin-dippers.
 
I still think we look poorer with Eriksen out on the left and whilst Dembele has earned his gametime, there are situations where I think he falls short. Lamela also has failed to look any better than his competitors. Were Chadli suited to playing on that side (I don't think he is) we would be set.

I'd completely agree with that, except I'm pretty sure Mason has his spot secure aswell....
 
Summed up the level of commentary on BT to hear them say Chadli was back after being away with his country.
