Yet our coach dismisses him out of hand saying "he is not in my plans"... actually freezing him out to this extent that Poch was willing to play a bunch of kids rather than take him to a high-visibility friendly which could put him in the European shop window and actually increase his value.

What does that tell you? Of course, it maybe that Pochettino is an incompetent idiot who does not have your unique eye for a player's qualities...

Go back a year to Stambouli - he was clearly in the out tray but Poch still played him in pre-season friendlies and never shut him out. Which suggests to me that the issue with Bentaleb is an attitude problem and - as we've seen with our coach - once you have crossed Poch's red line, there is no turning back!

As for him being worth 20mill and being so good?? I wonder why we haven't seen any clubs willing to get such a bargain, then

We've shown our cards and announced him unwanted, we will not get his true value. He'll be a bargain for someone.
 
Is he actually getting sold or loaned?

i was just thinking, '...not in my plans' could just mean not in my plans for this season?

There's rumours Juve want him to replace Pogba and FdB wants to make him his first signing at Inter. There's still 3.5 weeks left of the window.

We've also had overly strong rumours about Yedlin (Sunderland?) and Chadli (Swansea?), but they seem destined to be heading out after not making the Norway trip. So it could just be a case of no leaks.
 
If Juventus are happy to pay 73m euros for a 29 year old forward we should be able to take them to the cleaners over their Pogba replacement

Though I was reading that we were only get loan offers for him so maybe this is a leak to bring some bids in

I think some of the lack of interest will be due to the fact that the new deal he signed a year ago put him on rather high wages. Outside of the premier league it is now only the top couple of teams in each of the big European leagues that could compete with the wages that he is earning at Spurs.
