If the "Pea-roller" king could shot and score like say a Scholes he would be world class until then he isnt..

Sorry dude gotta disagree. Hehas scored a few fantastic goals and his shooting otherwise can be ok, but when it is bad I.e. the majority of the time, it is fudging abysmal!

It can be abysmal,yes,it looks especially bad when he scuffs them and they go near the corner flag,but at times it can also be excellent.4 goals from outside the box is a decent return for any player in the league tho
 
Lol Modric shooting is to be polite average. His shots 9 times out of ten are weak and rarely even test the keeper. Great goal against Liverpool, the one against Bolon was on the half volley which makes it much easier to strike the ball- was a great goal, but my point is his shooting power is usually weak.

You honestly think the opposition see Modric pick up the ball just outside the box and think 'oh no, don't let him shoot'?!

For 'excellent' shooting from distance / outside the box see Frank Lampard - circa 2004-2012

Modric' shooting is average at best with the occasional cracker every 25 games or so

Luka ain't there to score screamers. He's there to stich the defence and attack together and be a good tackler. Which he is outstanding at. You cannot get the fudger off the ball!!

the problem is though that all those other players mentioned here are defensive midfielders , modric is supposed to be an attacking midfielder , which is why he really should be contributing a few more goals ...
