He signed a contract end of really, he acted dishonourably, honour is a small word with a big meaning its the mark of anyone.

Also comparing Modricis situation to VDVs is ignorant and not comparable.

Now, Dempsy and Modric is something you could compare, just not on the same level (Modric moving from TH to RM, as Dempsy from Fulham to TH)

Yet he refused to play and train at Hoffenhiem, is that not a case of double standards after your stance on modric below?


Modric was unprofesional and treated us like brick therefore he can feck off as far as I am concerned he is just a nobody, what is wrong with you people, the way he has behaved is unexcuseable

Can't compare the VDV and Modric. All comes down to finance and the price tags on their head. Levy played hardball with Modric due to the numbers involved, his fee alone would enable us to buy a couple of good midfielders/striker or a world class one.

It was a general comment. In relation to your post, I must say showing bitterness towards Modric is a waste. As has been pointed out he gave us some great years and we were both privileged to have each other. Are you still angry over berbatov?

I think you have missed the point of my post, i am neither angry at Berby or Modric. I assume you are answering the bolded bit which is not mine but a quote from another member.

If you go back and read a few posts earlier it may help you to understand better.

You seem angry at Modric according to the aforementioned bold statement. In particular, you mentioned he has treated us like brick? Kindly advise what you mean by this and revert in due course...

For me great players like Modric and Berbatov have sullied their Spurs legacy with poor behaviour while trying to force a move. It's not that I begrudged them the move as such, it is the manner in which they approached it. They didn't respect the club and for that they deserve no respect in return.

Others are thankful for the privilege of having seen them play in a Spurs shirt but to a large extent it was Spurs that made them the players they are. All it would have taken is a little professionalism and they could have walked away much loved. fudge em.

Sol gave us nine-odd years. Not comparing the two, just pointing out a salient fact. People are mad. They have a right to be. Far better a thread title than daubing it in tar on Modric's car as he drives into Valdebebas or something.

I actually couldn't care less about his love for us!
I would rather he hated us and was still here, we'll not be finishing anywhere near 4th this season with him!
