Liverpool have improved season on season, getting business done early and indetifyimg targets - even waiting a window or season to get it over the line.
I agree Liverpool have done well in the market, they spend massively on players they identify as first team targets and are prepared to wait a window or two for right player to become available rather than to buy players further down their list just to get bodies in - we can't really do the first and now we are seemingly not panic buying and are prepared to wait for the right player we are getting criticised for that too - go figure!
We may have just finished above them in the league last season but they have over taken us- CL final/start to this season whilst we have stood still and stagnanted.
We have seen a general trend of improvement over the past few seasons too, from 6th/5th to 5th/4th to 3rd/2nd - do we really have to lose our brick if we 'stagnate' for a year or two? Does that not come across a little entitled to you (never mind the fact the season is only 5 games in) especially with the off the field stadium issues we're going through? Do you not think it might be a case of cutting the club some slack whilst it steers itself through some testing times?
Why would I not believe the chairman- there was meltdown after being claimed him to be lying about knowing about the stadium
Would benefit would it be not to?
As already answered in previous posts - it would be of paramount importance to everyone that the club isn't seen as in a position of weakness financially speaking
Lying about the finances would be a worse stance to take, if he’s honest there would be no issue about not signing players.
He’s made the issue by saying the stadium won’t affect the budget and then DC saying it again a month ago so signings were expected.
