Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

98 for redknapp

55 for francis (didn’t hang around as long as it seems in my memory)

67 for El Tel as “manager”, Shreeves and Livermore have their name next to 23

Guardiola ...

Poch has won as much as he has over here

Honestly if guiadiola ever managed a side that wasn’t the richest in the league then fair play
Sorry but Poch isn’t currently a patch on Guardiola. All Poch has proved is that he’s a good coach, Guardiola has won everything there is to win whilst stamping his own unique beautiful style of football in the process and is about to do it again. Yes he’s had great financial power behind him, but there’s a reason certain coaches prefer not to take on the challenge of managing the elite teams and that’s because elite players don’t always buy into their methods. It’s not as easy having unlimited funds as it is on Championship manager and the pressure at these clubs is unreal year after year. Poch doesn’t have that at Spurs, even if we didn’t get top 4 he wouldn’t be anywhere near under threat of losing his job.Poch has won zero, and odds are is going to win zero again this year. Like it or not, he is nowhere near Pep at this stage....

lol poch can't beat a managerless team
lets get it clear - poch has a lot to learn, he's good but not guardiola

He’s the best thing to happen to this club in my 35 years supporting it. And I say that as someone who didn’t want him at Spurs.

He’s not perfect but no one is. The job he’s done in the last 3 and a half years is absolutely incredible.

It's because of poch that we moan sanity games like this ....

Seriously anyone that can't see that poch has earned the right to have an average result is deluded.

There is no one out there that can do the incredible job him and his team are doing, in arguably the tightest league, and on a relatively small budget.

Some of the critics really tinkle me off. Does Poch make some decisions I question? Absolutely. Has he earned the right to not be second-guessed by me and possibly all of us? Absolutely!!! He is the best manager I have seen here, probably even more than the mighty Burky!!!! I think Gazza is 1000% correct.

Agree but he is not without fault, and may win the league with eventually but I do not believe soon

Best manager for us in recent times? Agree.

But his inexperience shows, he struggles to balance the demands required of the best football managers.

I am glad he is here with us. He is bringing us to new heights. Yet I am frustrated at the obvious issues that he hasn't been able to see or address.

Pochettino will not win the league if he doesn't improve on squad management IMHO. He motivates players and has good tactical ability but needs to manage his squad better.

I am frustrated by the obvious issues he has overcome and the ones he still has to deal with, that nobody seems to take into account. In fact, frankly, I think it's almost laughable how people don't see them or discuss them...

To have been in contention with a fraction of the resources, is a real achievement. This season was always going to be tricky with us playing at Wembley, it will probably take us a while to settle into the new WHL too. That shouldn't take away from what a great team Poch has built and how excellent our results have been under him.

I don’t think he’ll win the league soon. But I think the fact we’re even mentioning Spurs as serious title contenders given where we were when he took over and the financial power of our rivals is unbelievable.

He makes mistakes but every manager does. Fergie made some big ones, Cloughie did likewise, Mourinho, Pep etc. Theyre just people making judgement calls so they’ll always make mistakes. You have to look at their records over a period of time rather than individual mistakes to judge a manager in my book.

When I look at Poch taking a side that a lot of the fan base was apathetic about, that was full of rogues and mercenaries, got routinely hammered by the top teams, that had a soft centre and that was barely the sixth best side in England and turned them in to what we have today, I’m full of admiration for the fella.

I take the point about managing top, top players and what Pep is currently doing. But, mistakes and all that Poch has made, I don’t believe there is any manager who, over the last 3.5 seasons, could have done much better for Tottenham and I include Pep and Jose in that.

Which obvious issues do you refer to?
