I didn't mean it as in we have just bought him timewise, I meant as he has come from that league and was there till literally now so him being there a smidge longer is hardly harmful.
Not at all, but would rather him get back training, settled in England, and playing with an English team. Preferably around London where he can still have close contact with and support from the club.

If it was me making plans I would say stay with us for the rest of this season to get settled at the club and the new surroundings. Play in the U21's plus the UEFA youth league with away match at Real Betis in February be good to see how he performs with Williams-Barnett and then possibly a loan next season after doing the pre season tour.

Still?

League of Ireland is closer to U21 than the Prem fwiw.
He got injured playing for Ireland U21s late last year. He had the injury and would've needed a break after the Irish season. Not sure the extent of the injury.

The Irish league is about league one standard. It's a lot more physical and a lot more on the line than in U21s. I guarantee he's learned more from playing games in Ireland than he'd ever learn from playing at U21s.

Ok, I'm sure you've watched lots of LoI games so will go with your superior knowledge of it

I played US College with and against Irish lads who went back to play in League of Ireland. I can assure you I was nowhere near good enough to play League One standard, same as them.

But we can leave opinions out if it.

If it was the equivalent to League One, you would have countless players moving from teams in League of Ireland to go and play in the Championship, League One and League Two.

If it was the equivalent, the players being loaned to League of Ireland sides would return to their English clubs in the Championship, League One and League Two and be starting players.

Nether of those things are happening.
