McKenna came from our youth setup to coach Ipswich, right? We must have someone similar in the club now. Maybe just be cool and progressive and get a female coach in.

No, I want to see it out. Right out. See it all the way.

We've walked 100 miles, might as well walk the last mile and see for ourselves.

Its an admirable suggestion, but, I just dont see us beating them with Ange in charge, would not be the first time we made the change right before a big game.
Personally I would take the gamble of a new face in charge, if only a Caretaker manager, but, its all irrelevant. I fully expect there will be no change for at least a week and not until the May

I didn't say we would beat AZ.
I said I want to see it out, to the very end.
Then there will be no repercussions and discussions and allegations and suspicions ad nauseum for 5 years like with Pooch,

There can’t be any doubts with this current bloke. I think he’ll get to the end of the season (mostly to save Levy’s face) but no further time is needed to come to a conclusion on his managerial abilities at this level.

Is there an argument to say we should replace Ange if we actually WIN (and go through) on Thursday. We could hop to a guy who has won the Europa, UEFA, Champions League, is unemployed, a great tactician, and would command full respect from the players. He would then have nearly a month with the players until the next round.

If Levy is set on Ange gone at the end of the season then why is he deemed the best person for the job of getting us over the line in the Europa. Might be the sensible option to bring it forward and give us a chance of winning it. New manager bounce etc.

Not going to happen. There have been plenty of opportunities to get rid of him if they wanted to, if we go out limply to AZ maybe they will pull the trigger then but most likely he will be here until end of the season. And no one knows what Levy is set on, even during the real dark times there was nothing coming out of the club to suggest he was on the verge of being sacked - just the wishes of a portion of the fan base.

Also the new manager bounce thing is a bit of a myth, it sometimes happens and sometimes doesn't. For every Moyes there is an Amorim....

Oh I know it's not going to happen. It's something a forward thinking leadership group might consider (not ours). My point was that it might be better to get rid if we win rather than if we lose.
