London's best Greasy Spoon Spot

Where is everyone's favourite greasy spoon cafe and why?

I have struggled to find one since I moved from Essex, my favourite place was the Big Blue Bus at Lakeside which was run by an old guy called Bazza, nearly half a french stick breakfast roll and it was amazing, £4.50 and a cup of tea.

Other than that as I say I struggle to find or think of one.

I keep seeing the Regency Cafe and the Layer Cake reference makes me wanna try it out, but had mixed reviews.

There was a fantastic Spanish cafe in bayswater but it's sadly now closed, they did a brilliant fry up that came with French fries.

Egg, chips and beans...chips need to be fried in clean oil, and not too greesy - despite the establishments name. Eggs needs to runny. Beans need to be hinz and not some budget alternative Just need more exercise to allow it more often!

I made the mistake not so long ago of picking up the 'no added sugar' variety...dear GHod, give me any old budget alternative you want before those!
