I am not sure we are able to get beyond the fact you think that everything I expressed is a reaction to you - right down to your first reply where you seem to genuinely believe my choice of Joe Rogan was connected to you (nowhere did I remotely suggest you had taken health advice from him).
I chose him because of all the examples which could be chosen, he has been the single biggest factor in all being discussed. I mean, you said he changed the podcast landscape yourself!!! Which is the basis of why I chose him as my example!
With regards to the list of information you supplied, some is accurate, some is open to interpretation, and some is lacking context/simply wrong. For example, he went anti-lockdown in April 2020. Please also try to understand, when I talk about Rogan bedding into a vast audience the concept of not trusting government, I am referring to times before covid where he spoke of government overreach.
I was wrong to say he'd done it for 'a few' years, he's done it for many many years. Even when he was a comedian! It's been a part if his schtick for a long time. Have you never seen his 9/11 conspiracy rants (of course he's easier on the ear than, say, Alex Jones). Obama? Yes, he did say some good things about him before turning abruptly and being highly critical/feeding a narrative of distrust. So I think your counter-portrayal of him lacks a lot of accuracy and context.
With regards to where you get your medical advice, great.
With regards to covid and all the fallout, yes, terrible. Everyone was affected somehow. So sure, investigate, but be all-inclusive. Again, so much was weird early on because nobody really knew and if they did, they weren't saying for (I suspect) many reasons. Painting Fauci as the bad guy is theatre. That's all. BTW, I think from all I've read that we are currently woefully ill-prepared to deal with another pandemic, let alone one which is airborne and quickly deadly.
Withe regards to tone/being baffled, I have explained several times there was nothing personal in what I was saying. Honestly, if you still don't see that, then it is clear you never will thus there is no further point discussing it.
p.s. with regards to travel, it was part if my job. And no, I did not wear a mask at all times, in fact I was delighted when I was away from our specific protocols and could not wear one. It was not mandatory at that time anymore, albeit our lot had their own protocols in place. With regards to the vaccine, it was never said to be indemnity, I always heard it stated as a huge symptom mitigator. In my case that was true.
Regarding Becerra? No, I wasn't, because he did not spout some of the rubbish Kennedy does. Your point about lack of medical accreditation stands; where he is clearly more qualified than Kennedy Jr is that he spent two plus decades in congress working with healthcare programs.
Podcast regulation? Not my aim and I do not recall saying I wanted that. What I will say about the podcast you mention of mine (I do other stuff as well) is that we hold ourselves to standards of truth and opinion (we are very clear when an opinion is just that). Equally, if someone points something out in anything I do which is inaccurate, I am happy to acknowledge that and admit being wrong.
