I think Gary is somewhat missing the point.
Whether a football club (or any organisation) should be encouraging gambling is a different discussion. Not an unworthy one, but it's not the same scenario as that under which Trippier has been banned.

I think this is a good example of how a player’s ability and/or mentality isn’t set in stone. He was terrible in his last season for us, and his confidence looked shot. But now he’s won a league title. Perhaps with the right new manager some of our players who haven’t looked up to it will have a similar kind of turnaround.
