Thought Sanches did quite well last night considering he is not a right-back.
But I would have preferred a dedicated player for that position.
Not sure playing backups like Betty on the other side of the pitch, especially in that heat, he looked in dire need of a long squirt of WD40.

Last night we changed half the team including both full backs

It is natural to be disjointed but Sanchez was better than Davies yesterday
 
Love the energy of the Atleti side.
Simeone looks like to have given Trippier a new sense of purpose.
Pochettino looks to be giving our lot Ketamine in their water!
 
I'm beginning to get tired of Tripper's interviews every week. Post-Juve, he is now talking about how he needed to improve the defensive side of his game which is one of the main reasons he went to AM. Last week he said he felt not wanted at ours even though he wanted to stay. I think he should do the wise thing and STFU. Good for him that he's having a good season, but he needs to remember where he was when he was signed by us, and where he was when we sold him. He went from a Championship defender to a CL Final/WC semi-final player. Sorry, I think for him to insinuate that we did not teach him good defensive shape is absolute nonsense.

Especially as he's still only been there five minutes. Trips' form has always been one of extremes, so sooner or later it'll all end in tears.

Another reason he needs to STFU.
 
As soon as the Spaniards cotton on that he struggles to actually run on those tiny wee legs, then he’s proper rumbled and up brick creek sans la paddle.
 
Today feels like the wrong day to take the tinkle out of Trippier!
Having watched his position last night get overrun last night for four goals.
He may not have done better but I'm not sure.

Yeah I'd been hoping there was a player in there and was all for giving him a chance but the last week has convinced me he's just not very good. I'd have Foyth in or even KWP ahead of Aurier. As bad as Trippier was, I can't recall him having a week as terrible as Aurier's last week.

I'd play Toby and move Sanchez in the middle.
Don't like PWC sorry KWP. And Foyth is slower than ..than ...slow
