He came in the summer and barely played until after Christmas, think that's a decent settling in period?
Very good buy this one, should give us some real confidence in being able to rotate the 3 centre backs towards the end of this season and going in to next.

Good on the lad. Didn't expect anything from him at all when Verts was ruled out but he really made the step up. You could perhaps even argue that our form declined when he took a step back and a Verts rediscovering his rhythm came in, although that's probably being over simplistic.
The only other time I have felt as comfortable as this with 3 of our centre backs during my time supporting Spurs was with King/ Woodgate/ Dawson.

Excellent news, and thoroughly deserved. Jan's injury last season gave Wimmer the perfect opportunity to show what he can do, and he took that opportunity very well indeed. He must feel there is a good opportunity to progress with us.
