Kevin Danso

I thought I read this guy had failed a medical with Juventus due to some heart problem

If true, Spurs is the last place he needs to be, he will be in good company I suppose, we all have heart conditions watching Spurs...
Seems that Danso came to London to undergo further cardiac testing following that failed medical at Roma.

“On a comprehensive invasive electrical study of Kevin’s heart, no heart muscle scar or electrical abnormalities were detected that would lead to or support the development of dangerous arrhythmias. Based on the available data, we would consider him fit to play competitive football.”

Cleveland Clinic London doctors, Prof Sanjay Sharma and Dr Magdi Saba.

Well done another masterclass smokescreen type transfer from Spurs … it was the game plan all along … class. Welcome Kev, you will do well to stay fit

Can someone French go on a Lens message board and ask them why they forced him out? He wasn't in their last couple of squads, they sold a CB to City for big money, then also happy to sell Danso... are they hugely in financial need of a deal, or do they have 11 centre backs, or is there something else going on? They didn't make it into Europe this year, they got knocked out in August in qualifying.

All French clubs are bankrupt. Their TV revenues collapsed, so its pretty much a fire sale at every club.

Great. There are decent players in the league, let's get our winkle pickers out and winkle some whelks out.

In honour of Artois, I bought 54 Stellas from Aldi and am working my way through them.

(Lens is 1 hour south of Calais, in the Artois region)

The rule is 3 years from the age of 15 up to the age of 21
He left England at 16 and played for Southampton before 21
It’s very tenuous if he does count

He left England at 18 from what I can see.

Edit: my mistake he made his debut in Germany at 18
Left at 16
Came back for 1 year
I don’t see it myself but the rules are not that clear with really young players
If im right ( and I hope I’m not) his 15-16 year is 1 year of qualification
And his Southampton year is 1 year
