Juan Foyth

You do see a player that is floundering in attack moved further back and excelling. But how often do you see a player that is tearing it up at AM be moved to a wingback or plain old RB/LB? It's usually the other way around (Bale).
Ashley Cole, Danny Rose....

One that I remember clearly. Makes me laugh. Joseph Yobo was a striker for Nigeria in 1999. He played in the U21 world cup the same one as Xavi and Ronaldinho. He was a RB by 2002 Japan Korea World cup.

Had a couple of bad moments in possession 2nd half, but was monstrously good in defence overall. We would not have won the game without his contribution, man of the match.

Alongside a strong CB he'll be great. His ball playing ability is as good as we've got. I just fear how he'll cope against the likes of Deeney/Lukaku/Benteke etc.

Great performance and against a premier league side, no less. A proper ball-playing CB with excellent defensive presence. I wouldn't hesitate playing him in a back 3 alongside Harley and Toby. Now I know why Poch didn't loan him out. £12m well spent.

Worrying with the report the other week of Foyth potentially leaving because of the lack of progress he’s made. Hopefully that doesn’t turn out to be the case and perhaps he is given more game time if Toby does leave....
