He's definitely talented but I feel a little over confident with his comfort with the ball at his feet. The majority of mistakes and errors he has made have been caused by him trying something that most CBs wouldn't due to the risk involved. If he can ever develop the awareness of when to keep it and when to play it he will likely go on to be quite a player.
I also think he'd not be a terrible option as an emergency DM although we have yet to see that.
I think you're bang on with your first point. I like that fact he wants to play, but it carries the risk that one heavy touch can lead to giving it away in the danger areas.
Another thing for me, and I could be wide of the mark here as I haven't really seen him close up, but he looks a bit light. If you want to play and protect the ball in those areas then you need to be strong also.

I I can't dance with any of that, he has made errors and a lot of them is because he has been too casual. I can only put that down to the fact that he has played at a slower pace of football before we signed him and has only 16 league games for us ( not sure if some of those were as sub). Still young and i would hope we keep him and let him learn and adjust to playing in the Prem. Like you i believe if he gets that chance and adjusts his game he could be a good player.

I agree. But I don't think he has it for the PL - which is not a criticism, it's about as hard as it gets.
A loan to Germany for a session might fix that, but it feels like the time is right for everyone to move forward in different directions.
I think he'll end up as a very good Europa League player - a Sevilla player, that kind of level. Which will be a pretty good career. He'll have learned a lot at the mighty chicken badge.

Classy player too accident prone. Hopfully omitted because we've lined up a loan move rather than a permanent transfer.
He definitely has talent but I think if he wants to go either permanently or on loan then we should let him as ultimately he needs games somwhere and I don't feel it's fair to deny young players gametime when they've been here a few seasons.
I'd prefer a loan for obvious reasons.

Fair point. I just think that if we were to sell him we would regret it later. Loan would work but if it was then i hope its to a English team, he needs to adjust to the game here.
