How the mighty have fallen. It was only yesterday that I read he was already appointed to the Napoli job.
I'm sure he's had other offers and probably picked the one where he thinks he's most likely to win trophies.

Napoli are way off where they were. He'd be silly to go there. Fenerbache at least gives him probably a 50% chance (battling with Galatasaray) to add another league title in a different country and the fans there will love him. Until it all goes wrong of course!I'm sure he's had other offers and probably picked the one where he thinks he's most likely to win trophies.

The way Pep won it with Barca was art IMO. The way Mourinho won it with Inter was tactical genius.I’ve got far more respect for Jose than Pep.
Winning the CL in the manner he did with Porto was exceptional, the way he did it with Inter was a work of art.

Both great, great managers.
I’d like to see pep with limited resourcesIt's Pep all the way for me.
I had admiration for Jose and his amazing tactics in what he achieved in the first half of his career. I just don't like the narcissism that comes with the man. I can deal with his ego. That goes with the territory. I just don't like his gas-lighting narratives and the collateral damage that exists around him. For me, he is just not a nice person.
Despite not liking what City stand for, I've always loved how the classy Pep has approached that job. It is actually Pep that has congratulated his opponent on the bad days just like he did with Ange recently. I've really enjoyed how Pep just keeps re-inventing the tactics that keep every other manager on their toes in the PL.
