Yes, he is aggressive in that his first thought seems to be to chase and challenge and go to get the ball and hassle attackers, rather than stand-off, shepherd them, wait and see. Pros and Cons of course.
The goal Boro scored was a bit odd in that I thought Tanganga would go and get stuck in but he gave the Boro lad a yard; also I think that Boro lad is left footed so Tanga allowed the long shot with his weak foot... perhaps didn't expect it to creep past Gazzaniga's [usual slow] low dive
