Having watched a lot of behind the scenes footage over the past couple of years Maddison is without doubt a guy that keeps morale going in the dressing room and has the respect of his team mates. Armband or no armband he is a leader regardless....

I find it weird that he has any detractors. He always works hard, wants the ball and tries to make things happen.

but we need better if we want to go higher
so i see him crucial for next year, but also need a quality backup because of his lack of consistency
