Steve Sedgley
Looked good. Some way off 100%, but definitely good. Seems like he'll get back to his best fairly quickly.

Slotted right back into the string pulling role but just not match fit or sharp.
What a horribly disruptive influence this man is.
I thought Maddison, our creator in chief, was poor.
Nah, he has been poor since he came back from his injuryI agree...I wonder if not having Sonny running centrally is throwing him off a bit?

To be fair, I think all our outfield players were poor yesterday...which I put down to rust and not the same 11 chemistry. But he has not especially kicked on. I think he will be fine once all gears are clicking everywhere, but he is certainly still finding his meter...

I would suggest that our two worst performances of the season have both been against Wolves

My mate said that a few times in the second half, you could see the players almost duck out of wanting the ball, etcEasily they have.
What annoyed me with Maddison was I felt he was hiding to a degree. At his best he's taking the ball from the two deeper midfielders and playing forwards. Was a lot of sideways and backwards yesterday and standing in positions where he couldn't receive the ball
And when we faced similar problems undet Conte we would complain that we did not have "lock picker", well that was Maddison's job.100%
A team that doesn’t have its defence move out of their set up
Packed midfield
And no real striker
Everton are quite similar too and they were hard games for differing reasons
