It was always an odd one. Back at the start of that window Dan Kilpatrick tweeted the names of players we were after and Clarke was on that list (so it seemed planned rather than opportunistic). Yet once we had him it seemed obvious Poch wasn't that interested.
I remember at the time speaking to a couple of Leeds fans I know and they were gutted that we had bought him.
Shame for him but hopefully he can carve out a career lower down the ladder.

I hope he does well, seen him a few times in U23's and he was often the best player, always worked hard and created chances, didnt seem to be a disruptive player just didnt work out for him.

They are too. I'm not knocking Clarke as he was young, but the fee seemed high and he never really looked at the right level for us.
