I do agree it's the sort of thing you might have seen in The Good Life once as some sort of late '70s nod to hippydom, or possibly Camden Locke back in the day, but not in real life.
 
OK this week i am going to make some beetroot chocolate cake, the kids and wife love it (reduced wheat as the wife does not like to eat to much of it), Chich if you would like i can send you some i think you will be surprised.
 
I collected my daughter from school yesterday and the school gardening club were giving away their produce for donations. I put a few quid in the pot and picked up some lettuce and spring onions. One of the girls thrust some courgettes into my arms and I immediately thought of this thread. I currently have a chocolate courgette cake in the oven :)

Right so we had spag bowl for dinner, said to the wife the pasta tastes funny.

She says to me it is not pasta it is Courgette that I made down into spagetti. What the fcuk is the woman's obsession with courgette? Tasted ok though to be fair.
 
Haha. The thing about carrot cake though, tastes nothing like carrot, probably because it's like 0,01% carrot in it. Probably the same with the courgette cake. It just sounds all healthy and hip, so people unlike you would want to try it. :p

She got one of those spiralizer things? You've probably not had proper pasta for months.
 
They do courgetti in Sainsburys. Just don't follow their heating instructions (it'll liquidise).
