Was at the game. Kane was terrible, at the same time none of them actually look for him or understand his game. Anytime he does make a move it's ignored.

Thought England were pretty poor all round actually. Still desperately need a midfielder who can control the tempo of a game.

"Was" meaning he went to the game then realised it was a Tuesday and cold, then thought fudge this, I'm going home at half time to beat the traffic and be in bed by 10pm.

That's what I'd have done.

I remember getting tickets for loads of England games when Wembley was opened and thought this would be fun. Nope. Few times and it lost its appeal. Absolute head fcuk of a place to get out of and all the way back to Chelmsford at the time.
 
Albania v Poland abandoned but I can’t find any reasons why, anyone know the scoop?

I must have been to the new Wembley 30 times or so what with us playing there and apart from the Madrid match they were all crap atmospheres.

I wonder if the motivation is slowly going for him. If he thinks he is stuck with us I can see why his head might drop.

Think he will try to be top scorer at the next world cup and all team scorer for England then retire.

I agree, pedestrian and predictable. Some first time shots from players facing the goal would be nice. Not beyond this team manufacture some. And some crosses from deep now and then.
