Igor the Interim

I love VDV, but his mind looks elsewhere, expect he will be off as soon as the season ends even if we stay up
No loss given this season. Hopefully we can cash in - although I can't imagine it will be more than £40 or £50 million tops. He runs quickly and can make desperate, last-ditch slide tackles (usually as a result of his positioning being poor) - that's about it.

The only question is can we get? It was a stupid decision appointing him.
With the state of the squad playing a back 3 is ridiculous, we don't have the players for it. Again we have a manager that doesn't want to play players in their correct positions, it's fudging mental.
That's what I was saying about his lack of knowledge of us. Yeah he probably sat in his hotel room watching a few match videos but he doesn't know the nuances, attributes, characteristics, do's and dont's of the individuals. We haven't got time to let someone work that out.

I think the Nepo babies just thought...'bring in strong guy' ...his strong mentality will carry the players to safety 🛟

On the calendar....last night was one of the top 3 winnable games we have left.:(

We had 13 players available of which half of them wouldn't be near the side should others be fit. He could know everyone birthday and this job would be tough. I don't agree with everything he has done and we have look poor, but we have looked poor for over 2 years now and that rot has set, made worse by what is clearly players showing a face of the "don't care".

At one nil up yesterday he has done a major part of last nights job, you can't account for MVDV tearing down the house and burning it all in one move, its indicative of the players absolutely bismarcking our season.

HE can move on and we can roll the dice again, we might have to, but I guarantee this mob do the exact same to whoever comes in next

He would be brick in the championship as he can’t head a ball

I'm not complaining about him....I'm questioning the suitability as a candidate given the time pressures and holes in his knowledge. That's not his fault.

Shocking play from a Player who does seem to have his head elsewhere at times it seems
I’m likely being wise after the event but he didn’t look happy at the end of the warm up. Seemed to be having a disagreement with one of the coaches and then came ‘last’ in the final sprints, fairly surprising given he’s unquestionably our fastest player.

Some will say that’s sensible given his history and that’s certainly a valid view. I just see an player inhibiting himself and questioning how is likely be able to just ‘switch it on’ in a game state if that’s how he’s approaching things.

I appreciate there’s an already somewhat justifiable pile on, based on his in game actions, but I’m just adding context I saw.

Our next 3 are Atletico, Liverpool, Atletico. If we ditch Tudor now, whoever comes in is going to get eaten alive.
Or not!

This is part of our problem - we go into certain games thinking we can't get anything out of them. The NLD was a classic example; Arsenal have just dropped points to Brentford and Wolves, we've just appointed a new manager, the stadium is rocking, and yet plenty of our fans before the game are describing it as 'a free hit' for Tudor, as if we can't really expect to get anything. "It really starts against Fulham," was another comment I heard too frequently.

Why can't we go to Liverpool and show the fight Forest did at City the other night? They obviously thought they could get something out of that game. Given we finished fourth in the CL table, and we have the home legue second, why can't we go out and take it to Atletico?

Honestly, this club is f ucked on so many levels.

I've seen people excuse him a bit as having just panicked last night. I don't buy it. As a defender, you know the consequences of something like that even in a situation where you have a microsecond to react. You have to have the discipline to make the right call in that situation. Micky didn't and that's on him 100%. He hasn't looked in a good place for months at this point. I don't want to hammer him too much, he's a talented lad and he's young but that foul last night was unprofessional, undisciplined and had disastrous consequences.

Funnily enough I noticed that in the warm up.

They done the last sprint and he was a the back. The thing is with his speed his 30% is still quick enough to beat most of our team. Then in the game there were some balls over the top. Usually you can go make a cup of tea in that situation, come back and he's dealt with it but not yesterday.

Saw it too. He was just going through the motions. I wonder if he’s carrying a knock? Would explain him trying to pull Sarr back as he clearly had him beat. Or he’s just lost the fight which is even more worrying

He also knows the World Cup is coming up and he wants to keep fit for that

I would question who would be? I don't think being sat in the UK and knowing the PL even gives you an insight to the horrors at our club.
I'm not talking about that. (Although I'd disagree to a level even with that tbh.)

Its the head scratching formations and playing of players in unfamiliar positions.

Eg Porro, probably one of the best crossers in the team (league?) ...play him RCB in a three.
