Hugo Lloris

hmmm Forster at least is a lot better option than when Joe Hart stepped in to cover for Lloris

Wonder whether Paratici will be trying to find an experienced free agent or seeing whether we can get clearance for a loan for someone

We do need to replace him going into next season as sadly he is on the way down, however its not good news that we only really have Forester. Lets hope that he can prove himself over the remaining games.

Could possibly try to get a loan from the Swedish, Norweigan etc leagues given that they typically run from Spring-time through to November

I don't know we can do an emergency loan can we?
We have enough senior keepers to cover the team and bench, so don't think it applies?

Being a backup GK has to be the worst job in football - as soon as the first choice gets injured and you think you might finally get your chance to play, the team will want to loan someone else in! :D

Who knows. Rules for this sort of thing seem to change all the time but you might be right. Perhaps finding a free agent is more realistic

Lloris hasn't exactly been a huge asset in recent weeks so might be that its easier for Forster to match his recent level

Is alright for someone at the end of their career. Earn high ££ for rarely ever needing to put the kit on.

Forster is a good back up keeper and i have no worry about him. However back up keepers are ok for the odd game but IF Lloris is going to be out for a while that would mean Forster is really our only back up nad IF he does get injured we could really be in the brick.

This is what some of you guys were baying for and fate has answered your wishes. I'm not saying anyone is wrong or right. Just a simple commentary. Hope Lloris recovers well, but let's hope Fraser can be up to the task.

I have been at times thinking that it may have been time to give Forster a go. But of course we know very little about how good he actually is as a goalkeeper these days.

Hoping he gets on well. Having this change forced on us is not a good thing.

Agreed, it's a blow for sure but on the other hand, the manager has the decision made for him. I really do feel for Lloris as he's been at the club for so long, so just as Forster might be relishing the chance to play CL, Lloris must be slightly distraught by not being able to participate in these latter stages, especially if we go out... although that could be a different kind of selection headache if we do advance and Lloris is fit again (depending on Forster's performances, of course).
