Hugo Lloris

I’d need to judge him over a longer period
I mean we need to buy well and do what basically pool did in getting in the right keepe and defensive leader
I really rate Pope and Tarkowski is out of contract in a year so there are two there that could come in and IMO have an impact. I’m sure there will be plenty who say their not good enough as they haven’t played for a bigger side but then VVD hadn’t before he went to pool.

Last night I think he should’ve done better on the first goal... that was about it though wasn’t it?
Second goal.... through Toby’s legs from central area, it sure he could’ve done much about.
Siggy penalty.... almost zero chance.
Richarlisons was an inch perfect finish. Maybe Lloris was covering a bit too much of his near post?
Barnards was also an inch perfect finish.

Even the first goal was one that looks worse on the slow mo replay, he probably had <0.1 seconds to adjust to the shot as it was hit with such power.

I think for all of the goals last night, Hugo would’ve been bailing somebody out had he saved them...

Goal 1 - Hojbjerg’s terrible touch
Goal 2 - was it Sánchez who didn’t deal with the initial high ball?
Goal 3 - Hojbjerg
Goal 4 - Toby and Doherty sleeping two yards behind Sanchez and Davies and playing Richarlison onside.
Goal 5 - Winks’ terrible touch

To me it's more about shots a top keeper should stop with some frequency at least. The first one I'd expected top level Lloris to stop the vast majority of the time. He did that annoying keeper thing of jumping slightly just before the shot. If he didn't I think he saves it.

Penalty and Richarlison I agree with.

Last two i would expect a top goalkeeper saving at least a decent number of times. Yes he would be bailing us out, but that's what top goalkeepers do with a fairly good frequency.

The three of those in one game is not a good look. As I said before hopefully just one of those days as I think his shot stopping has been very good this season. If this becomes a pattern we're in trouble, or even more trouble than we're already in.
