Ha... so not only do you come on here and dictate who we can laugh at, you go one step further and mock the country that 90% of people on here are from. So you dont want us to mock your country, and you expect to achieve this by mocking the place we are from? Thats quite an American/stupid thing to do.

PS - Got to admit, this is the first time I have ever had to consider whether I live in a relevant country. I'm not quite sure what that actually means. Maybe you would like to explain how different my life would be, should I live in a relevant country ? Also can you please list these countries in case I decide I do want to be relevant once again. Should I be disappointed its not the 19th century anymore?

I was being entirely facetious and just responding to your barbs. I have nothing but respect for England. Our biggest ally and friend in the world, and a fantastic country (and this in not sarcasm).

HOWEVER, my initial post was in no way an attack on you, it was blanket statement of exasperation. You responded by telling me to get off my high horse, and then proceeded to make a high horse remark of your own (which have continued throughout this thread). At the point of your initial douchebaggery, I decided you were personally worthy of my animosity. You've done nothing yet to dispel that notion. I don't think this makes me ignorant. You have multiple posters on this thread telling you you're full of brick. You've earned it.

3. My answer to your final assertion is really just going to mirror point #2. I am planning on murdering the people who made the video. Don't worry about that.

That would be the same dingdong who assumes that because another American, who I guess is as humourless and ignorant as you are, also hurdles to conclusions, when reading something that they don't have the wit or intelligence to understand. Earning your dismay or ire has ceased to be an issue to me. You lost all credibility when you declared yourself intelligent, having failed to produce any evidence to support your claim. Using other irate Americans is hardly support, is just a confession of collective stupidity.

I can help you with one thing though, I can deal with anyone who has differing opinions to me, but I refuse to give credence to anyone who is rude or ignorant to me, because I hold contrary opinions to theirs.

This is Mick, in a nutshell.

Says what he means and means what he says. There isnt a hidden agenda, if Mick says he wasnt taking the tinkle out of America then he wasnt taking the tinkle out of America, simple.

I appreciate he could have presented this thread a little more tactfully to show that, as it has clearly been misinterpreted from the moment it was started.

I wonder if a few of our more sensitive American friends hadnt jumped on it straight away whether or not it would have descended into such a mess.

Also, "Im intelligent" and "Douchebaggery" really dont belong in the same post :D
 
The americans i have met in england have all been great, never met a bad one.

None of been anything like those in the video. I imagine we have plenty in this country who could appear in a similar video. I never like laughing at other people for being stupid because im a bit stupid myself, i mean i have common sense but i cant spell for brick and my maths is even worse. I did answer every question in that video correct though.

Thing is the are parts of all our countries we dislike, i do not like the people who watch reality t.v. or soap opreas, i do not like women who read gossip mags, i think there as bad as the pornos that some people want banned.

When i think of america i think of the great movies and t.v. shows and the are some really intelligent ones, i think they have lots of culture when we were in new york we went to art galleries and museums. Americans spoke to us there about the exhibits and i did not have a clue what they were talking about, maybe the have a website somewhere where they put up videos, how stupid are british tourists.

When i was there and i only spent 2 weeks there, i found americans to be polite(a bit to much for my liking) kind and very helpful. I find americans as a whole to be more interested in the political process then english people. With a country as big as america with so many different places to visit i can understand why they do not take much interest in what goes on in other parts of the world, though i think many do.

Nope i wont have a go at the americans for being stupid, the only thing wrong with americans is they call football soccer and for that they are all a bunch of clams is anyone who calls it soccer. Otherwise i like them a lot.
