I love the little fella.
Yes we know, but we're talking about Harry winks, please keep to topic.I love the little fella.
You should go to Norway. I've heard it's full of midgets.I love the little fella.
You can change the running technique if it is particularly bad. We've had a few at our club that I know of who have had their running style changed by a specialist coach, and it certainly made them faster. One remarkably so actually, but usually it is from slow to average rather than slow to Bolt speed.I’d noticed this too. What type of training do you do to improve pace in your twenties? There was definitely a point a few seasons ago when Kane seemed to add a little bit of acceleration too.
He did an amazing.Absolutely fudging magnificent.
I am an unapologetic fanboy of him, I think he is just magic, but last night I thought he was incredible.
He was exactly where he needed to be at all times, and he did exactly what he needed to do.
Just superb.
Blood doping perhaps...? Not suggesting this is the case, but it is entirely plausible.I’d noticed this too. What type of training do you do to improve pace in your twenties? There was definitely a point a few seasons ago when Kane seemed to add a little bit of acceleration too.
Surely not, #neverredBlood doping perhaps...? Not suggesting this is the case, but it is entirely plausible.
Leicester got away with it...
They tried it but it never took off.Leicester got away with it...
Do tell?
Bio-mechanics probably. I was a county standard runner at school, so no slouch but not much to write home about. I went to University in Southampton where I was stuck in the cross country squad where one of the coaches was big into bio-mechanic. He basically coached/forced me to change my running style... and by the summer I knocked 4 secs off my 800m PB (around a 3% improvement), and 10 by the end of the season. It was a lot about how you pumped arms, and where you held your hands, and which part of the foot you run on. A lot was done dragging weights behind you on a harness. It was really hard to relearn something like your running style as it felt unnatural at first but it does work and can add speed and strength. I suspect that the knowledge and practicalities have improved further over the intervening 30 odd years!!!Blood doping perhaps...? Not suggesting this is the case, but it is entirely plausible.
Couldn’t believe it last night when I was reading the OMT after the game and someone was slating him. I thought he played really well, glad I’m not the only one.A word about this gem of a young player who, at the home of Barcelona, just put in a performance of quality.
He had no other defensive midfielder beside him and this was a mature performance against a team that prides itself on passing and artistry. Winks really held his own.
I believe the stats - for as much weight as you give them - are that he completed 92% of his passes, or 65 out of 71. Don't think any other player on the pitch did better.
Modric and Kroos, and now Rakitic and Busquets.
Little Iniesta can mix it with the best of them
