Is Winks a better international footballer than PL player?

There is more time and space on the international stage and I feel this might suit him better.

Winks was the same for England last night as he has been for Spurs in recent games. Difference being it was a friendly and the RoI were - um - er - well - you know ..
 
I understand what both players do, I just find them mediocre at doing it. Remember how poor they were when paired together.

Maybe that was also because of other weaknesses too (FBs, no pressing in front) which have been changed and improved upon

Pair them in midfield again even with PEH but especially without him and you'd remember how painful it as even with Reguilion/Doherty and focused Aurier.

But what you talking about is a better player being better. That’s normal isn’t, hence why we brought PEH (and I was not a fan but right now I think he is the best in his position in the league)

I'm saying Sissoko and Winks are still mediocre notwithstanding the general improvements in the team. They are still the weak links and lower in quality and effectiveness especially if played paired together.

I disagree
Said it last season that the full backs were a massive weakness and that was true. We also had no one pressing from the front.
But PEH has been a huge huge player for us and is better than winks or sissoko. From what PEH a has done for us he would start for any team this season

He absolutely has and his quality is covering for Sissoko in particular's ineptitude. Take PEH him out of the team and the gruesome twosome are still exactly that.
