Harry Kane MBE

Qualification via the coefficient rule comes in when the CL group stage is expanded to 36 teams for the 2024/25 season. Of course, at that point it would also depend on the 2 available places not being taken by teams ranked above us.
That's right.... We basically have to qualify for, and do reasonably well in, European football for the next 3 years. That is why I think a capital injection from the owners (or via a dilution of the existing equity) to be used on transfers would be a really smart move this summer.

Lol. Well trained in speaking to the press.
Gave nothing away with a non-committal response and in doing so asks the right questions for commitment to happen.
Quite sure Paratici will learn a lot about Levy through handling Kane's contract. Levy and the CFO should be bracing for Paratici's call I imagine.

Situation is still exactly the same

- some club (seems only 1 in game) needs to put up or shut to fudge up

Mostly likely scenario is Kane is with us for another season.

- Think Kane has realized it as well, hence the very club appropriate messaging.

ALways liked Pep but these quotes make him sound like a spoiled brat:

"Daddy, Spurs won't let me have what I want...."

fudge Pep, Barca or Madrid would laugh your ass out the room with your low ball bids

Jao Felix & Griezmann both went for considerably more than you are offering for Kane, you think those clubs would have been delighted with 100M?

Sure,… Barca would have been delighted to sell a 27 year old Messi with 3 years left on his contract for £100m!!

What planet is this guy on and why don’t the media question this stuff ?

You mean City? the little club with a soul that could? (not making that brick up, BBC ran something along those lines last season)

And Pep, the media darling who has had the 3 most expensive teams in Europe and without a sub 25 year old Messi has constantly failed at the biggest prize for a decade?

I am more and more convinced it's a charade, Pep never really wanted Kane, he wants another 300 midfielders to play his false striker brick ..
